Guitar Center Hollywood recently hosted Paul Gilbert for it’s Sessions series. This was a free, two-hour showcase of Paul’s playing and insight.

The store manager expected 100 people to show up. At one point, the line apparently contained 500 people. 300+ were let in, causing the small venue to be “packed tight”. The setting was apparently intimate, as GC desired. Many, many more people were turned away at the door. Such is the draw of Paul Gilbert in his Hollywood hometown.
